And today we are filming live from Denver, Colorado.

I guess we always film live.

But you're not listening live or watching live.

But we're here in the home of someone has become a dear friend of mine.

His name is Elden Kirchner.

I met Elden when I attended the Denver Mormon Stories conference a few months back in 2012.

But Elden has been a long time listener of Mormon Stories.

And while I was here in Denver, I got a sense for his story.

And I knew that we needed to interview him.

This is the first video interview that we've ever conducted outside of the state of Utah.

So I actually flew back here to Denver to interview Elden.

And it's because I just, the story is so interesting.

And there are so many people involved that I felt like it warranted a video interview and a higher quality audio.

Just to give you a little bit of a sense or preview of what Elden's story is about.

Elden grew up about LDS in Arizona of Pioneer Stock.

We're going to talk a little bit about that.

A very strong and significant family in the part of Arizona where he grew up in.

He experienced same-sex attraction as a teenager and as a young adult.
