Hello and welcome once again to the cinnophiles where this week we are not diving into a single great film,

0:13.0

but instead exploring a theme that I think

0:15.8

has been central to filmmaking and storytelling

0:18.8

for thousands of years.

1:30.3

religious and religious ideas to share one other thing

1:33.0

those things have a deep deep connection to all sorts of films even films that don't seem quite religious and I wanted to share one other thing which is

1:41.6

One of the reasons I've sort of been rearranging some

1:44.8

pieces of my life is that there is a project I've started working on that is

1:49.0

fundamentally about religion and this is as everyone who listens to the show probably knows, I'm an atheist,
