Today I'm going to be sharing some allegedly true and downright creepy Smoky Mountain Horror

stories.

As I mentioned a second ago, I have a lot of experiences in the Smoky Mountains.

Some of them kind of creepy, but most of them good memories as a child.

Whether it be visiting Gatlingberg, hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park,

or just driving through and loving the scenery.

When I was a kid growing up in North Carolina, I was a member of the Boy Scouts of America.

I know it might seem corny as hell, but my time in the Boy Scouts honestly made for some

of the fondest memories of my childhood, and as much as my friends these days like to

make jokes about the deviant proclivities of my former Scout Masters, nothing remotely

weird or unsavory ever happened to me with any of them.

There was a lot of fishing, camping, field craft, and community service, just some good

old-fashioned wholesomeness that gave my parents a break from me from time to time.

Well, I'll accept for this one time.
