1:04.5	largely forgotten about and haven't received a lot of coverage or discussion. So trigger warning
1:11.4	for those of you who hate when these stories don't have proper endings. These are unsolved cases,
1:18.2	these are crimes that remain without justice, mysteries that have gone unresolved, questions
1:24.9	unanswered. But I hope that by shining a light on cases like these cases that have been neglected,
1:32.1	lost to the cobwebied dark corners of true crime, we can bring some renewed attention to them and
1:38.5	make them a few degrees warmer and ideally a step closer to being solved. Today's story also
1:45.8	warrants a few additional trigger warnings because it's the kind of story a word like
1:52.3	grizzly can't even begin to do justice. During the research phase for today's episode, we found a
2:00.1	letter to the editor responding to the language used in a news article related to one of the cases
2:06.2	we're discussing today and I want to read it to you. Dear editor, I was sickened by the front
2:11.8	page headline in Friday's paper, man shocked and castrated. Why was it necessary to go into such
2:19.8	detail? And if that wasn't bad enough, Saturday and Sunday's paper both carried a reference to the
2:25.3	fact that the poor man was castrated. If any details weren't necessary and I for one don't know why
2:31.4	they would be, saying that he suffered knife wounds should have been sufficient. In the future,
2:37.3	bear in mind that a good many of your readers may be eating their breakfast while reading the
