And this is the last of our three episodes on the strange, surreal, sometimes disturbing history of reality TV.

I mean, three episodes.

It's a great story, but we've still got to catch ourselves up to the present.

And included in that present is the fact that you, David, are participating in reality TV as we record these episodes.

Yeah, after decades of watching it and being into the TV industry, you're making it, I have for reasons I'm still not entirely sure why become a participant rather than a view of reality TV.

Though, I think Traders is a sort of

gentler form of reality TV than many of the shows, a lot of the shows we're going to talk about

in this episode, because we're in the 2000s, the kind of really crazy decades of reality TV. But really

what began that era was Big Brother, was the show that built on the success of MTV's The Real World and became kind of the show that just kind of revolutionized television.

Well, and it was a show that I know you really loved.
