Summary

A timid man is persuaded to take a chance and chooses a path quite different from the one he comfortably walks — a path that could lead him into some serious danger...

In August of 2013, 22-year-old Christopher Lane took a chance and changed things up in his life.

He left Australia to fly to Duncan, Oklahoma, there for a weekend to visit

his long-distance girlfriend. One day on his visit, Lane decided to take an easy jog and explore

around the area, a slow-paced Midwestern town, population 24,000. And on that same day, in that same

town, a 17-year-old Duncan resident, Chauncey Luna, was in a rut.

While out on a drive with two of his friends, Luna saw Lane out for a jog and decided to change things up in his life, too.

Luna shot Lane in the back. The shot tragically turned out to be fatal.
