the house. And today we're talking 12 tips to get you unstuck and out of a rut so you can get

motivated and fired up to tackle the day. You know, these are tried and true tips and they're just especially important as we jump into February. Kyle wrote these down, so I'm going to let him talk a little bit about it before we get into it. Yeah, so basically as we had came back, you know, just from our trip, you know, just beautiful sunlight every day, you know, just my habits were very like set in stone.

I would do my meditation, go for my morning walks, like wear a nice t-shirt and not have to bundle up. Like, you know, just as we know around this time of the year, it is pretty tough, especially if you do live, you know, where there's just way less sunlight. Well, there is right now for everyone, but then it's also a lot colder. or so like being completely transparent and honest.

I just, when I came back, I was just like, wow.

0:56.3

I just felt like I being completely transparent and honest,

0:54.4

I just, when I came back, I was just like, wow, I just felt like I was kind of like hit, you know, by a bus essentially, right? You know, not actually, that sounds a bit extreme. But I just was a little bit more tired, just a little bit more demotivated. So I literally took out a notepad as I felt everything. And I was like okay what am i doing right now because i want to share with every single person how i snapped

out of it within like a day or two, right? You know, it's not going to be perfect. And I do know that everyone reacts to like, you know, ruts and slumps and, you know, just like little, you know, weird episodes like that in different like ways, shapes, and forms. But these are the things that help me. and I truly believe if you also integrate these, you will have great success just to get motivated,

1:30.4

get fired up and see the results you deserve and just stay consistent with everything, right? Instead of just saying, oh, I'm not going to do anything for the next month. Right. So yeah, these things are amazing. I really hope they help you guys out today. All right. What's number one? So number one is just getting out of the house.

1:44.8

As hard as it might seem, that's going to be the biggest thing, right? So just staying put, you know,

1:49.0

staying inside, you know, the house like, you know, I heard from a quote the other,

1:52.7

a while ago just basically nothing good is going to happen there, right? You know, of course,

1:56.6

you can sleep, you can watch some TV. You can do some, you know, cool things there. But I do believe that when you get out of the house, even if it's a bit colder and you bundle up, I personally feel just so much better. So I forced myself, okay, you know, I'm going to go for my walks. I'm going to still do everything that I usually do. And just simply getting out is going to be the biggest thing in my opinion. even if you kind of have to force yourself, you know, use the, you know, the five second rule,

2:19.4

countdown, you know, it's just five seconds just to force yourself to get out there. I do believe that's one of the greatest things that will help you just in general, just maintain that schedule and it will definitely go such a long way. Yeah, this is such a big one. I listened to one book called How to Get and Stay Motivated. and his whole thing. We listened to actually on the drive up to Florida. He said, get out of your house. There's nothing there. It's all the stuff you already know. It's the same things. Go get stimulated, get engaged, be around other people, feed off that energy. And I'm a big believer in that. So I'm so happy that's number one because I'm so passionate about that. And number two, if you listen to Mailbox Monday, I spoke of this a little bit, just the concept of going through the instructions of your day, the steps of your day, whatever you may have it. You know, just know what you need to get done and when you want to do it tentatively and take it one thing at a time. Get up. Don't smash that snooze button, make that bet if you're going to do it,

3:09.1

go on your walk, get your food, do your work, you know, however you structure your day.

3:12.6

Just one task at a time, don't get caught up in the big scary elephants that are later in the day,

3:17.9

the things that need to get done.

3:18.9

Just really focus on the few minutes in front of you and the action and the task you can do

3:23.0

that will build into those bigger things. And don't let those big, scary things consume you in your day and kind of cause you to really just kind of freeze up and be stuck, like knowing, oh, I have to do this crazy task later in the day. I don't want to do anything before then because I'm so anxious and nervous. Like you're punishing yourself twice.

3:45.5

It's just good to get out there. Do those small things. Tackle them. Take them one by one and you're going to build momentum and be in a great place to continue forward. Absolutely. I love that. And that was

3:50.5

super well said. And, you know, that's going to bring me into number three, which is just offer a helping
