My name is Doug, and this is Doug Loves Minis,

the show that is spending the next eight days seeing movies at South by Southwest,

and we'll share the details with you on the daily or the near daily.

Coming to you from a hotel room in Austin, Texas on Saturday, March 14th, 2015. I flew in

yesterday on a plane that shows only one movie. You know, they just have that monitor in the aisle.

So I watched it, even though I've seen it before. And I should say that I liked Into the Woods

a little better this time, but I still don't love it.

Because the songs never really feel like songs.

They're just narration about what's happening.

Like I wouldn't want to listen to just the music without watching the movie.

Every character sings what they're doing while they do it. I'm selling a cow

for magic beans. I'm stuck in some goo. I don't know what to do. That kind of thing.

And even though it's a musical, there's like zero choreography. Even Les Miss had some dancing

around, you know, to the Master of the House number or whatever.

You know, if you're into musicals and you're into Anna Kendrick, I say look no further than the last five years.

That's what I say.

So once I got to South by Southwest, the Douglas

movie's challenge was able to be continued. Last night for movie number 43 of 365 movies and

365 days was Brand a sexual, a second coming.

I guess a sexual coming would be a possibly appropriate title, too.
