This is Doug Loves Minis!

Hey, hey, hey, short rounds. My name is Doug, and this is Doug Loves Minis.

Coming to you from MiniHQ in LA on Friday morning, early, Friday morning, March 13th, 2015.

I had a wonderful time in that wonderful town, New York City, that toddle in town, seeing 2.5 Broadway shows.

I saw all of Les for, I don't know, maybe my fifth or six time, and it's only a play

for the second time and half of Honeymoon in Vegas for the first time.

What I saw in Honeymoon in Vegas was fun, especially considering the source material

because I actually saw a little bit of Honeymoon in Vegas with Nicholas Cage on cable recently and, uh, oh boy, not, uh, it doesn't hold up.

But the show is pretty fun. The lead actors are really, uh, really good. And, uh, but due to poor

travel planning on my part, I had to leave at intermission to get to the airport to fly home.

Le Mise was terrific as always, especially the dudes playing Javert and Jean Valjean.

They're both great singers.

And I saw it's only a play because Martin Short has taken over for a while the part played by Nathan Lane.

I guess he's going to come back in a bit.

And I was curious to see how he would stand up.

And as it turns out, Nathan Lane was actually much better in this particular role.

When Martin Short was funny too, I'm glad I saw it again,

but Nathan Lane kills it even harder.

On the flight back to L.A., I was able to catch some movies,

movie number 42 of the 365 movies, 365 days, Douglas movies challenge.

The November Man, starring Pierce Brosnan as a super spy, you know, wants to retire.

He's not James Bond.
