But my challenge for this year continues. Number 267, I watched two-night stand on HBO,

sort of cute, sort of sexy, two-hander that ends up being too talky and not enough sexy. Number 268,

Kareem, minority of one, also on HBO, and yet another satisfying HBO documentary this time

about Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, aka Lou Al-Sinder, and his rise to sports superstardom and all the great and awful things that come with that.

Doug digs it. You know, I saw the Texans and Jets game on Sunday in Houston, and someone tweeted me,

I thought you hated sports, to which I replied, I thought you hated sports.

To which I replied, I don't follow sports.

There's a big difference.

If you're there in person, a lot of sports can be very exciting, except baseball.
