Well, in our previous study, we had wrapped up chapter 49 and just considered the opening verses of chapter 50.

The 12 sons had each received a fitting blessing from Jacob, and remember that

all were blessed in the way that Joseph typified the coming Lord Jesus and in the seed that

would descend from Judah to reign over nations and kingdoms. That means that even the hard blessings,

would come who would be like Joseph only better. Jacob had again reminded all his sons,
