thanks for having me on yeah uh where'd you grow up uh i was born in a town called independence

and raised on a horse farm in peculiar Missouri oh independence Missouri isn't that in between

Kansas City and uh I mean it's like just the east of Kansas City, right?

Yeah, just east of Kansas City. It's where my grandparents were all from. Most of my family on my mom's side, they're from like northwest Missouri area. I've been there since, you know, 1800s Civil War era stuff.

I mean, I've always been deeply passionate about philosophy and politics and interested in where my tax dollars were going once I started, you know, getting paychecks of a certain size. But even as a young man, I think, you know,

culturally the ideas of individualism always resonated with me. And I felt, I always felt

out of sorts or out of whack with the mainstream view of things,

pop culture, you know, I never really spoke to me other than, you know, certain things.

Mel Gibson movies maybe always spoke to me. But so, you know, I think in my heart of hearts,

I've always been something of an American exceptionalist and individualist,

someone who believed in the ideas of liberty and freedom and connected to the experiment that the founding fathers initiated on this continent in 1776.

And I found out a year ago that my one of my ancestors was a

Revolutionary War patriot actually we found three and I my middle name is Wade and I was told

it was a family name that went way back but we did the genealogy and found out that my ancestors

name was Isaac Wade, and my middle name was Wade. So I want my whole life without knowing this
