I had been in California doing dot com stuff for the better part of a decade.

And I spent a decent amount of time thinking about the company I wanted to start and I was

like you know what, it's not a tech company.

I love starting things, I love entrepreneurship, but I'm not a dot com girl.

This isn't my thing.

So I went to culinary school but I went there like this is going to be my thing.

This is the company I'm going to start.

There's a market, there's a need, there's demand.

I'm going to help women feel great about themselves domestically.

So I came from a place where people had big visions and started things.

You don't just get a job, you start a company.

So this was going to be my thing.

That's why I went to school.

I wanted to learn how to really cook so that I could break it down and give home cooks

confidence.

Were you passionate about cooking before you went to culinary school?

I was passionate about my inability to cook.

I was not so different from you today James.
