for sexuality. One of the ways that God began to reclaim sexuality in my life was through

meeting Linda Dillo. Not only was Linda a mentor to me,

but she challenged me to read the book of Song of Solomon

and for the first time asked God to really help me understand

what he was saying through all that poetic language.

Well, I took that challenge,

and God began to do some amazing things in my heart and in my marriage.

And that was also the beginning of authentic intimacy.

Together, Linda and I co-wrote the Bible study Passion Pursuit, which is, yes, a Bible

study about sex.

In our conversation today, Linda and I talked through some of the key takeaways we

learned from the song of Solomon, like the fact that God designed sex to be both erotic

and holy, and that sexual pleasure isn't just for husbands. God intends for women to enjoy

and initiate sex too. And also, no matter where you find yourself now, God can bring healing

and pleasure to sexual intimacy with your husband.

It turns out that women have really swallowed a lot of lies over the years about our sexuality.
