Summary

In light of the US House of Representatives voting to ask God to make us like Sodom and Gomorrah, like Chorazin and Bethsaida, we talked today for an hour about God bringing judgment upon nations outside of Israel -looking at Amos 1-13- and how the culture of death is the common denominator of all the insane, self-destructive things now being promoted as moral goods in our day. The culture of death versus the culture of life, brought to us by the Lord of life, Jesus the resurrected one.

Greetings, welcome to the dividing line from Central

Hot humid Texas. I mean, for this entire trip, I've had to have my tank heaters on. All I brought was warm clothes, and then I left Jonesboro, and I started heading sort of south from there toward Emory, Texas, where I was last evening.

0:57.9

I'm not going to tell you, I must have crossed a frontal line or something because it's been in the up, it was in the upper 70s, and humid, and in Lindale, and Emory, and all those places, and now I'm farther west, and it was 82 degrees when I got to where I am right now.

And in fact, if you look really carefully in the back, right there, that's the song, the song of the KOA, the song of the KOA is normally all night long, the song, the song of the tractor trailer at 75 miles per hour.

1:42.9

And that's just where most KOAs are, they're easy to get to that way, and the land is always cheaper, I'm sure. Either that, or you have a train track nearby, so you could get those train whistles nice and loud.

2:03.9

And then a few, you're next to an airport. It's just, it's just how, how RV life is so eventually you don't even hear it. So tomorrow night, Lord willing will be in Lubbock.

2:17.9

And that'll be the last public get together on this trip. Let me just mention quickly, once again, really, really, really have enjoyed.

2:30.9

Getting out and, and being with people in the churches.

2:38.9

Some great fellowship and discussion over lunches and dinners got to have lunch yesterday in Lindale with the, some of the leaders from.

2:54.9

Believers perhaps church where I was last night. And with Tom Buck, and the children maker from Texas, and we talked about all sorts of things, and that was very, very enjoyable.

3:08.9

And then had a real good group last night, and discussed sufficiency and reliability scripture, basically you do the exact same thing tomorrow night.

3:19.9

It looks like it's going to be the exact same schedule. And because it went really, really well, I didn't do, you know, I have a new test reliability presentation that I've done for years and years and years. And, you know, I'll update it and add graphics and stuff like that.

3:35.9

But this time I sort of freelanced it.

3:40.9

And I did use the graphics of the, of the manuscripts and stuff like that, because, you know, that's people like to see that kind of stuff. And, and then we did a Q&A, and most of it really was on the topic, which was very good.

4:00.9

I mean, we wandered away toward the end, but, but we went really long, actually, and no one, not too many people seem to care. I mean, you know, a few families had to leave, you understand that.

4:13.9

But had a really great time. That's how things are supposed to be, you know, you get to meet with people and, and it wasn't, it's not super formal, you know, during the Q&A, I just sat down on the, on the stairs, going up to the podium, the pulpit there.

4:34.9

And just really, really enjoyable getting to do that. And then you get to meet people and you get to hear their stories.

4:42.9

And that's why we, that's why we do what we're doing and doing it the way we're doing it. And it's, it's really enjoyable. So tomorrow night in Lubbock. Oh, and by the way, by the way, I don't know, I don't know what program we're using for my calendar.

5:02.9

But you have to look at the time zone, because once again, last night, we had people saying, well, Dr. White's website says it's at five o'clock.

5:14.9

And it's at six o'clock, but it's because this time zone stuff.

5:19.9

So I think we should just get rid of calendar programs and total because they don't understand any of that stuff and just simply put local time, just what it's going to be.

5:30.9

A lot of these things, especially small churches aren't live streamed anyways.
