Hello everybody and welcome to humble and hungry. I'm your friend Natalie Pouche. Welcome back everyone. Happy Monday. I'm struggling a little bit to wake up. I feel like my allergies are weirdly coming back. I don't know what's going on. My eyes feel very swollen and itchy. It weirdly happens at night and in the mornings, maybe it's my bed, my comforter. I don't know what's going on. Need to look into that.

So Riley and I are looking at buying a house and let me tell you if this is not one of the most stressful things we've ever gone through. Holy moly. A year ago, we were looking for a rental house and that's the house that we are in now. And we got our rental until May of this year. We had it for a year and a half. So we have until May to figure out what we're doing, not even May. You know, it takes time to close that scroll.

And go through all that that whole process. So we're like, I would not we I am looking at houses like crazy, which actually I love doing, but not with the pressure that comes with it. We went to an open house the other day and there was a line out the door to do a walk through and of this open house. Like when I tell you, I mean, it is absolutely insane. Like they were making us like take turns.

And then you're looking around like, oh my god, these people are going to add that this is their house. This is they're going to outbid me. And then people are talking numbers outside the house. And I'm like, go in your car. I don't want to hear how much you're going to offer on this house. There was one we put an offer in it. We we got out bit by $300,000.

That the house wasn't even worth $300,000. I mean, that's a kind of market. That's a kind of like that's what we're dealing with right now. Obviously interest rates are so low. And the demand is there. And it's just a crazy time. So I want to have like a broker or a badass real estate agent, not that mine is not, but she's very busy. But I want somebody to come on the show and just explain to us what the F is going on because I post this on Instagram. And I got so many messages.

That there's foreign money and investors are buying all the properties. And that's what's causing this inflation. And I just need to know what's going on.

So someone out there that's listening wants to come on or you know a badass broker send in my way because I'd love for them to teach us a few things.

So I'm going to ask her all the things today. The reason that we got connected was because Riley cooked for her at Lido House in the cottages when they were doing that during

they had this little deal going on during Christmas time where if you got a cottage, then you could also have the experience of having a chef cook for you.

And so he told me that she was the sweetest person. And I reached out to her and she was so kind enough to come on the show and chat with us.

I was already telling everybody how this connection even happened. Riley came home and literally could not stop talking about you.

I'm like, what is going? Who is this Tendley person? And he was like, and you know, he meets a lot of people, a lot of influencers and people.

And he was like, I have to say she was the sweetest person I have ever met. That is so sweet. But we might be related.

That's also what he said. So can you tell me because I was like, I'm just going to talk to her about that. What's the Huddleston thing? What is that about?
