I'm super excited that you decided to spend a little bit of time with me today.

Today I'm going to be talking about addiction.

So how many of you out there think you might have an addiction to something. I find that it's been

very normalized in our society for people to be drinking three glasses of wine a night every night.

And I guess if you're high functioning, I myself come from a very high functioning

alcoholic background. I stopped drinking when I was 21. I'm not

exactly going to be telling that full-blown story today. I'm interviewing someone

who's super interesting, someone who I like a lot, and I met her in person this past summer.

We were both teachers, facilitators at Soul Camp East.

Her name is Andrea Owen.
