80 years ago, this week, Vichy France, and Japan,

signed an agreement for military cooperation for the joint defense of French Indochina.

And that turned out well as we all know.

Some people think we might run out of things to talk about on this part,

but right there is a ten-part series that would barely scratch the surface

of the complexities of the Second World War.

And I've been reading that book about the war in China.

We'll talk about that in a minute.
