Summary

Today we review and discuss the Twinsman with Matt Parker of Album Surfboards; an alternative shortboard featuring two fins and a wing into a rounded pin. A low entry rocker leads to a single concave into a spiral vee into a pronounced vee, and the deck features a concave throughout. Should you add a Twinsman to your quiver? David offers all the info you'll need to answer that question. Enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Hey everybody, David Scales here. You've heard of album surfboards for years now. You've been seeing an increased amount of footage of guys writing albums boards. And if you've seen any of that footage in the last

1:45.3

Here's how album surfboards, founder and shaper, Matt Parker, defines it.

1:49.8

I kind of see it as a shortboard replacement for most of us, right?

1:56.7

Okay. Because, or at least a shortboard replacement kind of daily surf.

2:01.5

So I view it not as a retro board, not as a fish, not a, you know, it's more a daily driver for the waves you're going to surf 95% of the time.

2:12.7

Okay.

2:13.6

And the reason it's more phone friendly, you know, so you can kind of jump on it instantly.

2:20.0

You're like, well, I can catch waves a lot easier than I can on my normal board.
