The reality is, and please anyone listening, if you're going through this, believe me on this, you need to investigate your sources because the internet is amazing because you can get so much information.

But the other side is that there are a lot of people out there with a megaphone that have an agenda.

They are, they are, they are hammers looking for nails.

And there's a lot of stuff out there. That comes from, from sources that, you know, with PhDs or

they sound authoritative and they've got some well done science. and they say it with such certainty that when you

are in that place of vulnerability, it is very easy to get sucked in.

If you grew up in the church, have you ever doubted that what you were taught in Sunday school

was actually true? As you grew older, did those doubts multiply and expand? And maybe you pushed them down

because you just faked it until you made it. And then one day, they all come bubbling out. Well,

that is exactly

what happened with my guest today, Devin Squeary. He was raised in the Catholic Church,

and he never really knew for sure if it was true. And as he got older and became interested in

science, he began to question whether any of it was true at all. And then those doubts began to

compound. And when he was on the

verge of atheism, he decided that he wanted to seek truth because he realized that he had to

figure out what was the meaning of life if it wasn't Christianity. So he joined a group where

Christians and atheists met together. And that's where he met my friend Alan Hainline.

Alan is an apologist with a background in physics and intelligent design and the fine-tuning

argument.

The two of them met, and ultimately, it's a beautiful and encouraging story of Alan, discipling

Devin into a true faith, resolving his doubts.
