Summary

THE INTERVIEW When it comes to today’s guest, K says it best: “Whenever I’m with Shaman Durek I feel like I’m rolling on ecstasy.” Some of our most profound and transformative conversations have been with Shaman Durek and we are so grateful for his presence in our life. As incredible and serious and powerful as this man is, he’s so in touch with his inner child.. In today’s episode, he talks about Atlantis, predictions for 2020, what’s going on in the world right now, his relationship and how releasing your inner child can be part of our collective healing. And you REALLY don’t want to miss the ending where Shaman Durek confesses what he loves about country music—complete with a knee-slapping sing-along. You’re going to *feel* this one. We also talk about: Giving yourself permission to shine Learning to trust yourself for who you want to be Getting in touch with the ET part of you Remembering your past lives The history of Atlantis Viewing your ego as a protector Why people are afraid of the synergy of masculinity and femininity How to prepare for the future Find more to love at almost30.com! Hello, welcome to almost 30 podcasts. What's up? It's Krista. Hi, it's Lens. And we are

0:13.1

already almost, is this August? What is time? It's freaking me out, y'all. What is summer?

0:18.3

I was thinking about that. I'm like, wow, summer. It's kind of like weirdly fun sometimes

0:23.2

when time passes really quickly. And then it's also really, I feel like I can't, can never

0:28.3

catch up. I know. I was thinking about the other day, how when I was little, my parents

0:32.6

would be like, okay, we have to go to the YMCA. It's 25 minutes. And I'd be like, oh my god,

0:39.3

what am I going to do for 25 minutes in the car? You know, like time was so slow. Like if you

0:44.8

had to drive somewhere, or you're like, okay, I need 15 books, 20 snacks. Like a long car,

0:50.1

right? You're like, how am I going to make it through? How am I going to make it through?

0:53.1

And now it's like, we drive an hour and no problem here. No problem. Yeah. And it's

0:58.0

no problem. That's what. Well, and actually I read this book about memory. I need to remember

1:02.9

what book it is. But they talk about a lot of the reason why time goes by faster as you

1:08.2

get older is because there's not a lot of new markers of changing of time. And I think

1:13.0

I've talked about this before. But like when you're younger, you have all the grades that

1:16.5

provide markers and everything's very different. You're learning about all these different

1:20.4

things. Then you have high school. Everything's very different each year. You know, you have four

1:23.8

years. It's set. Then you have college. And then after that, it's kind of like a free for all.

1:28.2

It's like your life is just like, all right, I have like 75 more years of this. And there's not

1:32.9

new things exactly to experience. Yeah. You're kind of like, I've done this before. Like,

1:38.4

I think as a child teenager, et cetera, it's like, oh, okay. Like this is a big milestone in my life.

1:44.6

And then yeah, you're right. Those markers definitely make it kind of like, how am I going to get

1:49.0

through 11th grade? 11th grade. So when summer starts, wow, three whole months countdown.
