The thing I want to talk about is this process of the kind of wounded ego in how that

weaves into emotional intelligence.

So as we are trying to grow and develop, we are in one way increasing our intellectual understanding of ourselves and our path and the world.

But also it's very important at the same time to increase our emotional intelligence about ourselves and our world and so forth.

And one of the interesting, I think, markers of that, because I think emotional

intelligence can be a bit difficult for people to gauge sometimes, you know, and it's talked

about somewhat, but it's not super popular in terms of what's out there in media.

But ultimately, it's a level of maturity and understanding, but it also has to do with

empathy, with patience, and I think at a deeper level with understanding the human condition

in a rather intimate type of way you know I've said it before it's like if you come to listen to podcasts on this type of stuff, if you read books on

this type of stuff, if you seek meditation, whatever it may be, you're not doing it because

you feel great, probably.

You're doing it in, hey, if there's some person that's happy, trauma-free, you know, never had any issues,

and just as a seeker just for fun than more power to them, but generally someone is going

to find tools to improve their life because they've been through some stuff, you know, and they've been through some pain, they've been through some stuff, you know.

They've been through some pain.

They've been through some suffering.

They've been dealt some unfair blows and whatnot.

And they, and those can be physical, emotional, whatever.

But they're trying to kind of figure out how to not feel the fall up from that,

how to heal from that, how to live a better life and then and so forth.
