Welcome to Citizen. We're going to talk about some things today, some stuff that's kind of been a culmination, I guess, of some of the conversations we've been having

recently about logic and masculinity and purpose and politics and all that stuff that kind

of weaves itself together.

And this is a topic that, you know, I've personally been talking about for a very long time.

There's a lot of people in this space that have a lot of opinions about, you know I've personally been talking about for a very long time there's a lot of people in this space that have a lot of opinions about

what a man's duty is and all this stuff um yeah I think I think that there's quite a bit of confusion about it and there's some bad analogies used and some pretty bad advice

given as well so the title here is you have the weight and it is a commonly used phrase in buds

that I've heard for a lot of my seal friends and you hear it you know probably more in media than you do in real life, I would

imagine.

I'm not entirely sure about that because I never been to buds.

I wasn't in the Navy.

I like women.

To the gay people, I mean.

But, yeah, it's a phrase that you probably probably heard before and that you have the weight.

And it means that I have put the log on your shoulder and you're now carrying the weight.

And there's a lot of implications there.

You're responsible now for carrying it.

Also, not just that you're responsible but that i
