and I talk about it all the time. Because, you know, I just see everywhere all the time, all these like quick, like,

fixes and like 30 days and challenges. And it's really only a small part of the story.

Because stopping drinking is the easy part. It's staying stop. That's the problem. Now,

if you think about it, how many times, if you're listening to this, right, how many times have you stopped drinking?

I'm sure you've tried multiple times.

I'm sure you've stopped for days, weeks, months, maybe even years.

Stopping drinking is the easy part.

It's the staying stopped that is the challenge and the key, the solution to staying stopped is emotional

sobriety. And that's why people keep going back to day one. It's nothing to do with willpower.

It's because sobriety is 10% not drinking alcohol and 90% emotional sobriety. And I'm going to go into that in today's episode. And I just want to,

in case you're not aware of my story, so I've been sober before 26 years now. I got sober in May 2,000.

I was 27 years old. Pretty much almost half my life, right? And I kind of poodleed along for three years.
