Hi, welcome to Havala's podcast. I'm your host Havala, and today we are jumping into a taboo topic,

something we don't often talk about in the church or even together. We're talking about sex,

sexuality, and we're going to spend the whole month talking about what healthy sexuality looks

like as a person who loves God, believes what God says, but it's just not that straightforward.

I understand that. Our sexuality, sex itself is a little complicated and there's a lot to it.

And so we're going to dive into some of the original design, but also hit some of these

taboo topics like porn and intimacy and what's okay in a marriage bed.

And is it bad that I've had several partners or is it bad that I'm having sex outside

in marriage?

We're going to talk about that.

And my goal here is not to just dictate this is what we believe and this is what is said,

but my goal is to kind of inform you and educate

you so that you can make a powerful choice, not only with your spirit, but also your brain

and your future self that will thank you for the decisions that you made and how you

stewarded your own body.

So we're going to jump in.

I'm going to start the whole series out with really the idea of sex.

Now, a lot of us think, you know, we don't talk about sex in church.

I don't know about you, but we only talked about sex maybe in youth group and it was a one-night

moment during the year and the parents had to be aware of it.

But we don't really talk about it other than that.
