We've got a special show today.

It's just me again.

We're going to talk about the natural law of manhood and what history tells us

about that. And what it tells us about the discipline required for a civilization to exist.

Something that we talk about quite often, actually, it is this idea that

people have these days when things are tumultuous, I guess, politically.

What do I do? When do I know how to act?

Or when do I know when to act and all this stuff? And the question is a fair one, but it's the

wrong question. The question is, why am I not acting already? And we tend to solve problems as far downstream as possible.

Sometimes it's laissez-faire, sometimes it's laziness. There's a lot of reasons for it, but the truth

remains the same, that if you solve problems downstream, they're more difficult to solve.

It takes longer to solve them.

And oftentimes it takes quite a bit longer to repair after you've solved those problems.

People who lack first principles and trained minds cannot distinguish between argument and assertion or between persuasion and coercion.

That's a quote from a threat to power from last week.

It's absolutely true.

The way that we insulate ourselves from these tyrants and despots is not simply to train how to physically fight in the physical world,

but also to insulate our minds with first principles and discipline.

So that's what we're going to talk about today.

And of course, as is always the case when it comes to any kind of leadership situation,

this is all rooted in masculinity.
