| 0:27.0 | For example, coming home and drinking two bottles of wine |

| 0:32.0 | we probably would realize it's not very good for us. |
| 0:35.0 | However, coming home and meditating and perhaps going for a run or doing some yoga |
| 0:39.0 | are things that we could do to improve our lives. |
| 0:42.0 | These things make sense. But I do think there's something |
| 0:45.2 | that really confounds us. We often know what to do that is good for us, but we just don't do it. |
| 0:52.0 | For example, physiologically I think all of us agree that keeping |
| 0:57.0 | our weight down is a good thing to do. It's healthy. It keeps us healthy. We feel good |
| 1:01.3 | about ourselves. Yet so many people around the world |
| 1:04.7 | struggle with this. They don't have time to exercise, they don't like it, or even though |
| 1:09.7 | they know it's good for them, they just don't do it. Same way with eating. We know that eating healthy fruits and vegetables |
| 1:16.1 | that are alive are very good for us. But those french fries, those burgers, those other things |
| 1:21.7 | are just so attractive that we often don't do it. |

| 1:26.0 | I know there may be a lot of factors, genetics, where we live, the environment, |
| 1:31.0 | but one of the key factors is, which I want to talk to about today, is kindness, |
