Well, welcome to episode number 343 of the Huntback Country podcast.

This is Mark and I'm joined by Steve today as we recap our recent spring bear hunt in Idaho.

This is a hunt that we just returned from and there's so much going on that we wanted

to kind of quickly share the story with you guys, some of the lessons learned and highlight

the adventure that we had and what ended up being an actually very short hunt to give

you the sneak peeks.

Steve and I both filled our bear tags on the first evening of the hunt at pretty much

the same time and now found ourselves with two bears down to take care of and then pack

out.

So it was a great adventure we put on some miles, spent some time behind the glass, learned

some lessons even in that short period of time and then obviously found success in the

end.
