My guest today is Polly Rodriguez.

Polly is the founder and CEO of Unbound, a sexual wellness brand that is changing the sex tech industry for women.

So think sex toys and more.

She talks about how a cancer diagnosis at 21

and subsequently going through menopause eventually led her to be

inspired to go into this business and this is a fascinating conversation. I will admit it is a world that I know nothing about and

sex is part of wellness that is just very rarely talked about especially like

self-pleasure no way that is dirty, you know, there's this stigma around it.

But it's part of life, right? So Polly and Unbounds products are working to change that stigma.

So it's fascinating to hear what it was like trying to raise capital for the business,

to hear how men and women reacted. You might be surprised to learn who was more

conservative, we'll say. And also to hear her talk about the discrepancy between men's

sexual wellness products and women's like for example nobody blinks when

there is when there are Viagra ads everywhere, right?

But Unbound can't advertise on like the New York subway system,

for example.

So just really interesting to hear kind of the ins and outs.
