Now for a pretty good chunk of people,

the answer is yes.

According to Ranstad's 2024 Work Monitor report, 39% of workers don't want to be promoted.

Simply because they like where they're at.

Yeah, I, you know, that's not going, what? How could they not want more money? Well, they like where they are.

Now, 34% are just slightly below the 39 that say, I don't want to lead.

34% say they never. that say, I don't want to lead.

34% say they never want to be in a leadership role.

So what's going on?

So let's take that first piece of data, the people that like their jobs.

You know, contentment is praised.

Contentment is wonderful.

Now, make sure that you don't allow contentment to turn you into this comfortable
