0:22.6	daughters, Felicity and Serenity. The moment that somebody becomes a Christian, the moment that
0:30.1	somebody places their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and are born again,
0:34.4	a number of crucially important things happen at that moment.
0:39.0	Some examples would be such a person is immediately adopted into the family of God,
0:45.5	meaning that God is their father.
0:48.2	John 1 11, I'm sorry, John 1 12 through 13 says,
0:53.1	but to all who did receive him who believed in his name,
0:56.0	he gave the right to become children of God, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the
1:01.4	flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. So one thing that happens is we're immediately adopted
1:05.9	into the family of God. God is our father. We are his sons and daughters. Another thing that happens is that the Holy Spirit
1:13.3	comes to indwell us and live within us. Romans 8, 9 says, you, however, are not in the flesh, but in the
1:19.8	spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ

1:35.1	Another thing that happens in, let's see it in 2nd Corinthians 5.17, it says, therefore,
1:37.6	if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.

1:40.7	Behold, the new has come.
