Like the nature of Reiki is your energy transfer holding your hands doing this so-called energy transfer over the patient.

But when that also includes trying to wrangle a cat, it's just kind of funny to me.

It's like years ago we covered the horse reiki.

The horse reiki mafia.

Yeah.

How horse reiki was like this secret organization of women that only practiced horse Reiki. It was like kind of they acted like the mafia.

I was really confused about that because I for a long time thought that it was like you would perform Reiki on a horse. No, they put you at a stretcher and drag you into a field and have a bunch of horses come up to you and basically sniff you but like, oh no, no, no, no, that's horse raking. Yes, it's basically the opposite of what you would think horse rakey would be. It's what you describe. Look, I'll give it a try. Why not? The horse is holding their hooves over your injured organs to try and heal you. But now, it actually came from this academic source today. It's a book I picked up. It's from

2016, but it got reissued by Llewellyn just this month. It's from Jane Kent, the goddess, and

the shaman. She's Australian. She lives in the Blue Mountains. Oh, well, but I'm not surprised

that she's got these cat-recky experiences.

She's taught psychotherapy and education and psychology at the University of Western Sydney.

And this book came out of her doctoral dissertation.

Okay.

When I read that in the preface, I was like, oh God, how boring and dry is this going to be?

But no, it's really fascinating because Kent, it's one of those typical stories where, you know, some weird things happen in childhood.

She had this sensitivity.

For example, after her grandfather died, she just saw him, like, wandering through the living room.

And he just came up to her and kind of tapped her on the head and said,
