| 0:38.8 | coach and host Josh here with. It's co-host and co-coach KG and I'm in the house. And you're listening |
| 0:45.0 | to an episode of Motivation Monday where we share our favorite quotes of the week. We go over some |
| 0:49.7 | thoughts and we answer your questions. And we're just here to help everyone become fit or healthier and happier. So if that's something you aim to do, you are in the right place. And we're going to jump right into it, waste no time. What is your quote, Mr. KG? So my quote for the week, it's actually kind of funny. I just went down a random rabbit hole of just all these like reels videos. And now I want to start making some. Like some of them are actually really inspiring and i'm just like wow it's sometimes instagram can be a little uh you know just |
| 1:15.6 | like weird you know but here i was like actually like pumped up um but i loved it i came across it said |
| 1:21.7 | a lot of people feel they're burnt out because they're doing too much i think you're doing too little of the things that make you feel alive. And this kind of ties into one of the questions I will touch on today. But I just, I've always believed this for the last like years and years. I just find a lot of times like if I have a conversation with someone who feels like tired or burnt out or low energy, I think it's not just because like, you know, like, |
| 1:44.6 | and a lot of times people say, oh, I'm doing so much in my life. And it's like, that's why |
| 1:48.0 | I'm feeling burnt out. But I do believe that truthfully, it's because we don't have as many things that are like kind of just like pushing us out of our comfort zone that are inspiring us that are actually like fun right and if you know just it's something to think about right if you kind of make |
| 2:01.0 | a couple minutes if you write down a's something to think about right if you kind of |
| 2:00.8 | make a couple minutes if you write down what you're actually doing and like what you enjoy doing and how you can do more of it i do believe that you'll feel kind of like less burnt out and if you ever do feel burnt out it's usually not because you're doing a ton it's because you're doing too little of the things that make you feel alive that inspired that push you that challenge you And that's my quote for this week. |
| 2:18.6 | Yeah. |
| 2:18.8 | And to add on to that, we're actually just talking about, |
| 2:21.0 | we have a friend who I was saying you had a harder time getting up in the morning. And, you know, usually people say, how do you get up? Like, how do you get up consistently? How do you not hit snooze? and one of my most common answers is, you know, have a reason to get up. |
| 2:32.3 | You know, so for me, I know what I need to get done in the morning. |
| 2:34.6 | I have things I like to accomplish to really prime me and get me ready for the day. And, you know, I'll really make sure to kind of schedule that out. Kyle's really great at using his calendar as well. And he knows, hey, if I hit snooze, I'm going to put everything behind in my day. It's going to be a wash, right? But you know when you have to get up for like a flight or you have to get up for something, it's really easy to spring out of bed, you know? |
| 2:53.9 | But when you just to get up for like a flight or you have to get up, it's really easy to spring out of bed, you know, but when you just want to get up |
| 2:54.9 | just for the sake of getting up, it makes it that much harder. And, you know, it's the same with life, too, right? When you have things that make you feel alive and that really gets you going, you know, that goes such a long way. I know I shared the quote before that I really like from this one |
| 3:06.4 | random silly prank channel |
| 3:07.8 | we watch on YouTube. They had shirts that said be alive and really live. And, you know, that really just hit me. That was really like profound. And I just thought that was absolutely awesome. So, you know, it is a good challenge even every day to say, you know, how can I really live today? Like, obviously there's things we don't have to do obviously we have to you know we have to work we have to go through |
| 3:24.9 | challenge you know adversity can come but you know we do want to say you know am i doing things that fulfill me that bring me up that help me grow that make me feel great and when you do that and you're living in accordance with what you want to do it makes just you know running through everything that much better and you feel that much more fulfillment so I thought that that was a killer quote. That one really fired me up. Kyle shared with me earlier and I'm like, ooh, you know, that was a good quote. So I thought that was really cool. Anything to add before I jump into mine? No, I just, I think even like kind of going off of small little stories like yesterday, I had quite a busy day plan. So sometimes I can be like a little less productive, but because I had like everything laid out and I knew, okay, I had to work from 7 to 9 a.m. Finish this like work out routine that's been kind of on the top of my head. It just becomes so much easier like working off a way you said where having a reason to get up. Like it was pretty easy to do because I was like, okay, you know, this is going to benefit so many different people. you know, I need to send it to Josh. Like, I've got it planned out. I've got a busier day later. So kind of going off of what, you know, he mentioned about a friend that was struggling with getting up, it's like, we don't really have that like deeper reason. Like it can be tough. So it just made me feel so much more alive like getting it done and having that reason. So definitely really good, really good add on there. Yeah and for my quote this week I really like this one bear with me |
| 4:34.0 | it's a little bit of it done and having that reason. So definitely really good, really good add on there. Yeah. And for my quote |
| 4:31.5 | this week, I really like this one. Bear with me. It's a little bit long. So I'll read it slowly, but I think it's a really good one. So I find there's two types of quotes I like, or maybe three. There's some that are short, punchy and really to the point, you know, they kind of hit you in the gut. you know, there's some where you, you know, really have to think. And then there's some that are just like really true, you know. And I thought this one of those ones that's a mix of being really true and really one that kind of hits you. So I thought this was really good. But my quote for this week is when health is absent, wisdom cannot reveal itself, art cannot become manifest, strength |
