Today's topic is earned in private, felt in public.

Now, there are different versions of this one, such as what is done in the dark will be exposed in the light.

Some of you have probably heard that saying

before. And this episode is about the private and often unseen and often unspectacular work

that any of us chooses to do that can eventually lead to public, visible, and hopefully long-term enjoyable success.

But to get there to that publicly visible success that everybody celebrates and we get all

the recognition and now we look like superheroes to the rest of the world.

To get there, we must respect the process.

And regardless of the technology we get and the access and the tools and the devices and the interconnectivity that we have in the world today and the more of it we're going to have tomorrow, the process has not changed.

The process is not changing and the process will not change in the future. What process am I talking about? Well,

is the title of this episode. Again, earned in private, felt in public, I'm going to explain to you.

That title is the metaphor. Then I'm going to get granular and explain it to you in these points.

So let's get right into it. Point number one, topic once again is earned in private, felt, and public.

First point is this. If it's not yet working for you,

then it means it is currently working on you. If it's not currently working for you, it is currently

working on you. I was just telling this to a coaching client the other day. They ran an advertisement

that didn't turn over the results that they wanted it to turn over. And I told them,

well, you just got an education for the amount of money you spent on that ad, you just paid for some education and marketing because you just learned something. It didn't work for you, but it worked on you. Now you know something about marketing that you didn't know before you spent that money that didn't turn over the way you expected it to.
