I got into instructor training to become free, free from just everything that I've known for the last 27 years of striving, of pushing, of going harder, going bigger, going faster, counting, following food, just the whole,

everything that the world teaches you or that you think you're supposed to do to look a certain

way. It was all performance-based. It became an

idle. It also became my ego was just totally driven and that was my identity, was how I could perform in a gym and then I loved

helping people but instructor training for me what opened my eyes was just the

freedom piece the heart piece and that's what needed to get fixed.

Everything needed to, everything else needed to fall away.

And when I did the seven day detox, so after I signed up for instructor training,

I immediately did the seven day detox.

I couldn't make through one day without sobbing.

It spoke directly to my heart and my heart needed to be free.

So I started teaching in 1991 and I get certified in Step I went through all the

phases from Step to kickboxing to BOSU to Yoga to spinning to gosh I'm RKC so Russian kettlebell certified level one and two. I have every

certification AFSA certified group fitness I have taught it all, high low, you name it for the last, I did it for 20 years and then I've been out of the arena for seven years and basically just paying to go take classes in the

cross-fit world and I loved that I love the energy I love people but what I

was missing was just I just kept striving and it just felt empty. The instructor

training how it is different is it's just it's all based on the inside so it's

working the inside out not necessarily your outside in. So you've got to be whole on the inside.
