Welcome back to the morning mindset edition of the Liberal Change

Podcast. I hope you are ready this morning to get your mind right. It's kind of funny when I say it that way it even strikes me as

funny because it's implying there's something about our mind that is not right and

I guess really that is what I believe.

I believe we wake up every morning with our mind kind of in a default position

that has been shaped and governed by a lot of things.

You know, the way we were raised raised the kind of things we become used to

believing and thinking. So as you look at this day, take a little bit of time to get your thinking straight, aligning it with the word of God.

That's what we're shooting for in these morning mindsets.

Today we're going to look in Proverbs chapter 20 verse number 11. Now this verse

always makes me smile because it's a verse that was heard in my home over and over and

over as my children were little because of some Bible

scripture tapes, cassette tapes. Do you remember cassette tapes that my children

listen to that we played for our children when they were growing up. Here's what it says.

Even a child makes himself known by his acts by whether his conduct is pure and right.

And the song went like this.

It was an NIV version, I believe.

You see it, I remember my kids going around the house singing that, singing along with that, and

it's just such a good memory.

But the power of that verse really is not just about children, it's about people.
