Hello, why nabbers. My name is Jesse Meekham and this is

podcast number 335 for why now where we teach you four rules to

help you stop living paycheck to

paycheck, get out of debt and save more money. A while back, years ago. I recall a, yeah, I don't know where I was in a meeting of some kind and I just had the thought. It might have been around just last week we talked about kind of my

thoughts on what parents need to provide their kids and that that relates to

budgeting in such a strong way because kids can be viewed as terribly expensive and it just

doesn't have to be that that way. Anyway so I haven't thought a while ago my Julie and I made a thought a while ago.

Julie and I made an agreement a long time ago.

Before we even got married, we knew we wanted Julie to be able to stay home and raise the kids,

and run the house, and do what she had wanted to do since she was teeny tiny.

And I knew that I wanted to provide.

And so we very cleanly split those roles up and I've always been you know we've been married

15 years and I've always been the provider and Julie has been the glue, the oil, the crux, the linchpin, the foundation of the

household and the kids and she's been able to do it full time. It's been a huge

blessing for us and I wouldn't have it any other way and it was one of my non-negotiables that forced

me to start Wyanam.

So you can think about this not from a dad and his sense of obligation,

but just how you've divvied up responsibilities.

You may very well feel this obligation as a couple together

and Julie has Julie does feel this it's not in the way that it's like oh go out and get a paycheck

kind of way but it's still very much
