Today I'm going to be talking about how to grow roots in sobriety.

Because your sobriety, if you wanted to last, it needs to be anchored

and it needs to be rooted. And I'm going to explain exactly what I mean by that, why it's so

Okay, several things I want to cover here about growing roots in sobriety.

Because sobriety is a process.

It's not an event.

One of the mistakes I see people make is that people realize that they have an alcohol problem

and they look for the thing that's going to fix it.

If I do this thing, if I take this pill, it'll be fixed and then I'll just get on

with my day. And it doesn't work like that because an alcohol problem is a symptom.

It's a symptom of other issues. It's the manifestation of a lot of emotional disturbances, a lot of irrational

thinking, a lot of belief systems. The drinking is just simply a manifestation of that. And I want
