1:00.1	yourself and yeah tell us how you got you know what was the impetus that made
1:06.2	you start getting into the work that you do today was it you know a big moment in
1:12.4	your life you know, a big moment in your life?
1:13.0	You know, how did that happen?
1:15.0	So I grew up in West Michigan,
1:18.0	and outside of a small city called Grand Rapids,
1:22.0	which historically was known for its furniture industry, Herman Miller,
1:26.5	Hayworth, Fieldcase, and in more recent times is known as Beer Town USA, because there's a ton of great micro breweries. And Grand Rapids has a more, I would say, traditional family environment. I grew up in a small suburb and church was really at the cornerstone.
1:45.8	Religion was really at the cornerstone of our family.
1:48.7	My parents were and continue to be more progressive
1:54.0	meaning they voted for example Democrats over the Democrats over the last 30 years but still have very traditional value.
2:02.0	And so every Sunday... have very
2:04.3	Sunday for the first 18 years of my life until I left to go to undergrad
2:09.3	it was basically an obligation to be at church at Sunday school that was really the
