This might be offensive, but I would say the reason you're not hearing God is because you might be sitting in the wrong seat. You are sitting in the wrong seat.

Today we're going to talk about the power and the purpose of hearing God's voice, but we're going to kind of dive into what the autonomy is of a believer who hears God and then moves with God.

Now, I didn't just pick out this topic, although it's a great topic. I actually am taking it from a book

knowledge to get you from talking about it to doing it and so this whole journal

is like a road trip it's a journey to taking you from knowing to believing to becoming.

So today I want to talk about what seat you're sitting in,

because where you're seated in your car, in your life is going to matter to the power

in which you live, the decisions that you make, the solutions to the problems that you're facing,

and for many of us, it's just a seat change that's all that we need to actually start living a powerful life.

So I want to take us right to Acts Chapter 1728.

It says, for in him we live and we move,

and we have our being.

So for us believers, and maybe you're new to this

and you don't know about this but the truth is

is that we can do nothing outside of the Holy Spirit so that shouldn't be you know

uh-oh how do I do that no no that should put the pressure on that the Holy Spirit comes to

empower us to live a life that we're called to live. And so what this is saying in

scripture is like, listen, in him you live and you move and you have your being.

Apart from him, the Bible and you move and you have your being.

Apart from him, the Bible says, we can do nothing.

Jesus said, apart from my father, I can do nothing.
