In today's episode, first we talk about a bride who came to TikTok to share the story about how she kicked her matron of honor out of her wedding... and although it seems she assumed that the internet would side with her, turns out that was not the case once the matron of honor shared her version of events. Then we move onto Mike the Lineman who has been quite the viral star as of late... but sadly that is only because he was exposed for cheating on his wife whom hes been with for 10 years and has 2 kids. Even sadder is that his wife learned of his infidelity after seeing a TikTok of him getting far too close for comfort with a random girl at a bar who had posted a TikTok of them together in hopes of reconnecting.

Hello, everyone, and welcome back to Do We Know Them? Episode 331.

0:05.5

Indeed. Hello. Hello. We've got quite the episode for you today. I feel like this may be a long one, but maybe not. Maybe not. Maybe we keep our thoughts concise, said no one ever.

0:15.6

I don't know much about either of them. So you're leader laying the episode today and I'm just going to be here.

0:23.1

We just filmed our sponsor and I decided that the Lola Blanket is staying for the entire episode.

0:27.9

I'm ready to listen. Beautiful. Okay. Well, we do have a wedding adjacent one. We have some

0:33.5

made of honor drama. And then we have a scummy scumbag cheater. What would you like to start with?

0:39.0

Let's start with the wedding. This actually, we were going to cover last episode, but then it was the

0:44.7

Barbie Dreamfest in that. Took up too much time. Bit of a deep dive. So, you know, we had to push it to the

0:49.9

next one. Well, this is the story of Kenny and Jazz, and Kenny is the bride, and she posted on

0:56.4

TikTok talking about why she had to fire her matron of honor. And I have actually seen quite a few

1:01.3

of similar type videos over the past year. I feel like a lot of people will be like,

1:05.8

this is why I had to stop being friends with my maid of honor. And to that, I say, you guys really

1:10.1

have to stop making people who you just met your maid of honor. And to that I say, you guys really have to stop making

1:10.9

people who you just met your maid of honor. Okay. Yeah. I feel like if you didn't have someone that

1:16.7

was like an automatic choice, I would just like maybe not have one. Dude, this is why weddings are so

1:22.1

stressful because like how many friends do you need to have to have a wedding? It's it brings me back to

1:26.4

the top eight days. Oh my God, but like

1:28.6

hardcore because it costs you like your entire life savings. You know what I mean? Like it's really intense. But like I feel like a lot of the stories just end up being like me and this girl like we were like really, really close for like a few months. And then, you know, it was my wedding and I wanted her to be my maid of honor. I feel like that's more so for like people that might get like uninvited or like unfriended after the bachelor's rat party. But like the maid of honor is like. That's hardcore. I feel like it would take a lot to like come between someone that you pick to be your maid of honor. Like the point there is that it's like one of your best best friends forever yes yes but if you're just meeting not just

2:02.2

meeting someone but like let's say you guys haven't traveled together. You've never lived together. You've never been in situations. Yeah, it is weird because it's like things with money, things with people's time. Like, it brings out the ugly in a lot of people. So it's like, just be weary. And I'm not even saying that the maid of honor was like bad here at all. I'm just saying like, it's just interesting the choices that people make.

2:21.2

You know what I mean? a lot of people. So it's like, just be weary. And I'm not even saying that the maid of honor was like bad here at all. I'm just saying like, it's just interesting the choices that people make.

2:21.2

You know what I mean? When it comes to their wedding. Sometimes in the beginning of friendships, like you are like really obsessed with the person, us, for example. But I mean, we stood the test of time. I just like can't even, even if you were like, oh my god, I really like this person,

2:33.9

it would not occur to me to be like, they're going to be my maid of honor.
