and that's why I joined. Were you buzzing to get there? Yeah, absolutely fired up. As soon as I

come back from Northern Ireland,

we then got recalled to go out to Iraq, the first Iraq war, I wanted more of that. I wanted to be there. I wanted to be at danger every single day. But I realised in that moment that the war that I'd been looking for was in here. Internal, yeah. It wasn't out there. And then I ended up back in Iraq. I went there as a contractor.

highway at 110 K's an hour and I had my arm cross here, the window up. I had an MP5 curts on my lap,

popped it straight up here and just straight through my clothes window into the vehicle.

And this firefight that I'd been dreaming of, this battle, it happened and it was the worst experience in my life.
