| 0:38.0 | levels and so, so much more. So I hope you're fired up. We're going to jump right into it with |
| 0:42.5 | Coach Kyle's quote. So my quote is very applicable to myself currently, but also something I feel like |
| 0:47.6 | we can all live by every single day. And it is, you will face many defeats in life, but never let yourself be defeated. And this one just, honestly, I've just, I get so fired up listening to, not listening to it, but reading it over and over again. And I just think like, once again, there's so many times where we just feel like, oh, man, this is just, I can't keep going. Like, I just don't know if it's going to work and you know just |
| 1:10.9 | but once again like by you just giving up and stopping like that's never going to help your |
| 1:15.6 | situation of course there's times where it's good to take a step back and realize maybe I'll shift |
| 1:19.6 | gears and change directions but never allow yourself to be defeated you know currently I'm |
| 1:24.5 | battling a little foot bottom of my foot injury you know technically you technically you're actually, um, every, it's supposed to change your running shoes every 500 kilometers or so. And I didn't realize and I did a thousand kilometers. And I'm just feeling very defeated. But I know that like, especially because I can't do anything for this current week. I know if I take the step back and relax and just keep my eye on the prize, it'll all pay off. But it is tough when you feel defeated. Like there's something you want to do and you just, you want to keep pushing forward it, but you can't or your current circumstance doesn't allow you to be doing something to 100%. But you can always take a step back, focus on the good within, you know, what you're able to do and focus on. Once again, easier said than done. It's very tough for me to face right now, but it's going to all work out. Just you can't stop. You just can't allow yourself to be defeated full time. That's it. You know, you just got to stay hungry, stay with it. I think that's a great quote. Now jumping into mine, it's more of a simple one this week. Normally got some more intense ones, but today's quote is, |
| 2:19.7 | most champions are built by punch the clock workouts rather than extraordinary effort, |
| 2:25.0 | and that is by Dan John. |
| 2:26.5 | And you know, I've said before too that top athletes are not doing necessarily more things than you, |
| 2:31.6 | much things that are crazier, they're just doing things better. |
| 2:37.9 | You know, that's what it comes down to a lot is knowing how to do things better, more optimally. |
| 2:43.0 | You know, we're all human beings. We all have limitations that mirror each other's, and we really need to focus on what we can control, what we can be successful with. And, you know, |
| 2:47.7 | that is just by being consistent. You know, if i crush the gym an hour a day five times |
| 2:53.2 | a week for a month and Kyle comes in there once a week and he goes nuts for eight hours who do you |
| 2:58.1 | think is going to get better progress right so don't overlook just the factor of being consistent |
| 3:02.8 | showing up getting it in just for other things that seem more appealing like extreme effort effort. You know, those things are good. And if you can mix that in with consistent effort, that's going to give you a leg up too. But at the end of the day, sometimes you've got to punch that clock. Some days you're not feeling it. Some days you're a little sore. Some days you didn't get a great sleep. But if you stay in there, you find reasons to succeed and reasons to get things done, you're going to have a lot of success in your journey. Yeah. I mean, all the elite athletes, they're just staying the course. And, you know, of course, they have a very different routine and schedule. And like, you know, some of them will train hours longer. You know, you look at just extreme athletes, of course. But like, just getting yourself in there and consistently doing |
