Welcome to the perfume room. My scent of the day today is a reminder in the power of scent.

I was in my bedroom and I was just looking through my drawer of some sense that I don't usually reach for.

And as you guys know, whenever I get testers of things, I organize them in a few different tiers.

I either love it and I put it on my display shelf of like put this in the rotation.

I want to wear it.

I like it enough that I recognize it's a beautifully made perfume, but I don't know that I'm

going to reach for it often. And so I put that in a separate place. And I still recommend

those to people and talk about them. And then I have the third category of just like, I don't

like this and I don't want to recommend it. Now, what I am wearing today was in that second category.

And that is Rose Alexandre from

Armani Privet.

I first smelled this because it was sent to me and I thought it was a beautiful sort of narrowly

rose fragrance and I just felt like I had some other things kind of similar to it and I just

sort of put it away as I like this, but I don't know

if I'm going to wear it. So today I decided to open up that drawer and just look through some of

those fragrances that I sort of liked but put to the side. And this one was just kind of calling my

name. And I put it on today. And I swear, as soon as I put it on, I just had this transportive

experience. Immediately, I just had this transportive experience.

Immediately, I just thought of my Aunt Lil.

This smells exactly like the perfume she wore, which, interestingly enough, I still don't even know what perfume she wore.

But it was definitely something that I want to say had lots of white florals and some yellow

florals.
