1:07.5	chapter, which is truly a wild one. But before you get into chapter 12 of
1:11.2	the Sea of Monsters, what is your background with Percy Jackson? When did you first read the books?
1:15.6	What has shaped your fandom, et cetera? Sure. First, I'm in love with mythology. One of my favorite
1:21.1	things is Greek mythology. When these books came out, I was at the end of high school. So I wasn't reading any novels at all.
1:29.7	I was only reading textbooks because I want to get to university. So of course.
1:33.8	Novels, nothing. I knew that they existed because they started to compare it to Harry Potter.
1:41.1	And they were in the mix. So it was somewhere in my radar, but didn't know what
1:47.5	they were about or anything like that. And then many years later, I saw that a movie came out.
1:54.2	So I saw the movie first. At first, the movie was fine for me. It wasn't amazing. It was fun because it was Greek mythology. It was an A-Way series. It was fun. And then I checked that books existed. I said, I need to read this book then. And I bought all of them at the same time. Obviously, the books are better.

2:15.3	Way, way, way better. Then after that, I never stop.
2:19.4	I read them all in the spam of like a week and a half probably.
