Hey there, welcome to another episode of the podcast. How are you? Things are going well here.

It is cooling off, which has been absolutely wonderful after a very hot first half of August.

0:45.9

I'm recording this at the very end of August, but it's unusually cool here and rainy, which I love.

I am missing my daughter, who is in Prague for this semester. It's going well. Lots of growth

1:41.9

going well. So I hope things are going well for you, too.

1:45.1

1:56.8

big life decisions. So here's what I have seen. Motivation is not nearly as important as we have

2:04.7

been taught to think that it is. And it is definitely not something we want to consider as the

2:10.1

starting point. So your primitive brain is designed to do three things really, really well.
