Hello, dreamers, and welcome back to the show.

This is the 328th episode of California Dreaming, and it is also the second part of a multi-part series that we are discussing, which is the 2013 death, a 42-year-old husband, father of three, stepfather of one, Jason Rogers, by his wife, Rebecca.

this I'll go ahead and skip all the usual stuff in the beginning since I kind of

skipped it in the first part also but you know Facebook Instagram Patreon blah blah blah all that stuff I'm kind of skipped it in the first part also, but you know, Facebook, Instagram, Patreon, blah, blah, blah, all that stuff.

I'm kind of tired of saying it all. You guys all know.

So let's go ahead and do a quick recap of part one, and then we will get back to where we left off.

So in part one, we went over the background of this case.

It's an older one that really didn't garner that much media attention at the time.

It happened outside of Ascambia County, Florida, which is in the panhandle.

And I couldn't even find an online obituary for Jason, the victim of our story, or on

Find a Grave.

And as far as articles, the thing is that because they were all like local stories,

I have to subscribe for a free trial.

And I might have mentioned at the end of part one, I've been kind of held up from working on

these episodes because of tax season and whatnot. And going through all of the recurring payments

that have been on all my various credit cards that I keep forgetting about, I've found that I'm

subscribed to like a bunch of online newspapers and magazines when I do look up articles for the case and I

accept a free trial and I end up forgetting to cancel or unsubscribe and I'm really disappointed

in myself that I didn't pay more attention to recurring payments. Now that I'm in business,

I need to be very careful about what I subscribe to and making sure I cancel
