Hello, dreamers, and welcome to the 327th episode of California Dreaming.

And before you say anything, I want you to know that I am not going to be playing any

interrogations this time. I actually kind of want to take a deep dive into the content of this

particular interrogation because I feel like that so much was missed in this case

and I really think it should be talked about.

I don't know if I was just seeing and hearing things that were said by the investigators

that they weren't picking up on, or if they were actually just sitting

there and not really giving a shit about anything that was being told to them, because they've

already made up their minds that they were going to be taking this person to jail by the

end of this conversation. Maybe a combination of the both, but I listened to this interrogation several times, at least

three or four times all the way through. And what bothers me about the whole thing is the fact that

nobody seemed to call this lady out on her bullshittery, so I'm going to. This isn't going to be

a deep analysis of the actual crime because it's pretty cut and dry

and the defendant ended up pleading guilty to manslaughter or something like that and was given

basically a slap on the wrist for ending somebody's life. And I need to talk about this. I'm going to

tell you what this person said in their interrogation. Then I'm going to tell you what this person said in their interrogation.

Then I'm going to tell you what I heard being said in the interrogation.

And with it, I really put together a theory of the crime that would have sent this person to

prison for many, many more years than was actually handed down.

I'll go ahead and just skip the usual introductory stuff with all the social media junk

and panhandling that I like to do and get right to where the story took place,

which is actually the panhandliest of them all, Florida.
