and eighth fastest U.S. marathoner of all time.

In this episode, we chat about becoming a mother, winning her first U.S. title at the U.S.

25K.

Her reasons for becoming a U.S. citizen. Training in Kenya with former world record holder and New York City Marathon and London

marathon champion Jocelyn Jopka, fall marathon plans, and trying to make that U.S. Olympic

team next February. She also tells me about her nonprofit organization called Cross World Africa, where she's

helping young girls with schooling and making hope a reality.
