Wood Prairie Family Farms
A small family farm on the edge of Maine’s North Woods is located just six miles from the Canadian border.
For over 45 years they have dedicated themselves to time-honored organic regenerative farming practices and building up the fertile soil of Wood Prairie Family Farm.
Certified Organic by MOFGA (USDA-Accredited) since 1982. Their organic crops are sold to customers like you through their website and their FREE mail order catalog.

Organic REV
The first thing to understand about REV is that it is not an ordinary humic acid product that is chemically-extracted from leonardite, lignite, or other coals.
Rather, it is a 100% naturally-occurring carbon, humic acid & fulvic acid source - along with exceptionally high levels of naturally-occurring microbial biomass
that can increase nitrogen efficiency by up to 25%.  REV replaces depleted soil carbon & bacterial biomass - and absorbs nutrients to make them more readily
available to plants via their root systems.

Hey you guys and welcome back to the podcast. We made it. Hopefully the worst of the summer heat is behind us, at least. That's what I hope. I know that there's a lot of talk about fall when it comes to Labor Day and those of you all who live in an area like mine, that doesn't necessarily mean that the temperature is going to cool off all that much, but historically, the highest of the temperatures have passed.

0:24.6

And there's just something about the shifting of seasons, isn't there?

0:27.6

There's something that even if we're not fans of fall in winter,

0:30.7

it's kind of a reprieve to think, okay, it's going to cool off, it's going to slow down.

0:34.9

And then we kind of start thinking about new beginnings. I know for me,

0:38.8

when the middle of August comes and my kids are starting to go back to school and the garden,

0:44.3

the summer garden at least is looking really tired, I almost get into this New Year's type

0:49.3

cleaning spree. I'm cleaning out all my closets and doing all the reorganization as much as I can.

0:54.9

It's like a new beginning in general. And if you're feeling that way, especially when it comes to

0:59.5

the garden, you're tired of the spent garden plants, or maybe the garden in general has just

1:05.6

been something on your mind and something you're planning for, but not something you've actually

1:09.3

gone into this year yet,

1:11.3

but you're thinking about dipping your toes into a fall garden.

1:14.9

Either way, you may be wondering, can I plant now?

1:18.4

Is it too late to start?

1:20.3

Well, the good news is it's not too late to start.

1:22.8

You just have to make some modifications on what you're going to plant,

1:27.0

when you're going to plant, and how you're going to plant. And that's what we're going to plant, when you're going to plant, and how

1:28.5

you're going to plant. And that's what we're going to go over today. So if you haven't started

1:33.3

with your fall garden yet, this episode is for you. And even if you've had your fall garden

1:38.7

planned for a little while, maybe you went through the fall garden workshop, you've listened to

1:43.0

the podcast, this will still be a great
